I get pretty bad shin splits so I’ve been on the market for decently priced, quality running shoes. I have the Adidas 4DFWD Pulse’s that do great and I do not get any pain on runs and now these Nike Pegasus 39s! They’re two different shoes but these do great and give me no pain and help prevent shin splits and knee pain I get with non running shoes. I should also mention I’m a new runner and still working on technical running form but these shoes are definitely worth the hype. I will say I have a wider foot and was worried initially with how they felt in the shoe. They were pretty tight, but I loosened them as much as I could, and decided I would test them for a week, and after the second day, I felt like I broke them in and even though the toebox is pretty narrow for my feet. It isn’t some thing that’s going to keep me from wearing them, but I will say my next order of these shoes will be at least a half size up for maximum comfort.
